Day care

A day with us

From half past seven to half past five. Two rounds outside, and in between eating, resting and a little brainwork. Never more than six dogs.

Jessica sits in the grass on the riverbank with four dogs.

Walks

It matters to us that your dog has plenty of social contact and feels at home. We are out for about 150 minutes a day, split into two rounds.

  • Two rounds a day
  • A small, steady group
  • In any weather
Several dogs rest on the big sofa and the beds in the dog room.

At home

The rest of the time we spend in our dog lodge, where there is room to play, to eat and of course to sleep.

  • Their usual food is welcome
  • Blankets, bowls and water on site
  • A rest after eating

The place

Where your dog spends the day

Daily routine

From 07.30 to 17.30

  1. 07.30

    Arrival

Between 07.30 and 08.00 you drop your dog off, or I pick it up from you between 08.15 and 09.00. Whoever is already here greets the newcomer calmly.

A big dog sits on the steps in front of the house, a cat lies on the step below.
  2. 09.00

    First round

The longest walk of the day. We are out for a good hour and a half, with time to sniff and to meet others.

Six dogs sit on a gravel square with a view over Zurich behind them.
  3. 11.30

    Food and rest

Back at the lodge there is water, the dogs with their own food get their portion, and then the whole group sleeps.

Two dogs rest on cushions and blankets in the living room.
  4. 13.30

    Play and practice

Short sessions with search games and a little training. Nothing strenuous, but enough to keep the mind busy.

Two dogs stand in the shallow water of a stream and look at each other.
  5. 15.00

    Second round

Out once more for almost an hour, so everyone goes home relaxed and tired out.

Five dogs sit and stand on a farm track with a row of trees behind them.
  6. 17.30

    Pick-up

I bring your dog back between 15.30 and 16.15, or you collect it between 16.30 and 17.30. You get a short account of how the day went.
