I'm Jessica.

After training as a hotel specialist, I first set off to see the world. On my trip around the world I kept meeting street dogs. I looked after them, and they rekindled my passion for dogs.

Back in Zurich, my path first led me into the restaurant business again. But the dogs never let go of me.

And then came Grizzly.

My Great Dane was born on 14 November 2019 and is still a very special part of my story. Through him it became clearer and clearer that I don't just enjoy living with dogs. I want to understand them, work with them and spend my days with them.

Because to me a dog is not a “care slot”. It is a family member on four paws.

So in 2020 I began my studies with Certodog and deepened my knowledge of dog behaviour and training. After that came a three-month internship at CityDogs in Küsnacht, where I gained more valuable experience in professional dog care.

At some point it was clear: I want to create my own small dog world. That is how Hakuna Matata Dogs began.

Today I deliberately look after a small group of dogs at my home. Personal, family-style and with plenty of time for every single dog. We are outside a lot, discover new places, train along the way in everyday life and make our days as varied as possible.
